A very long beach runs along the entire gulf, but if you don’t love the sandy beach you can relax on the lawn or in the shade of the century-old pines, or take a nice walk to the excavations of the Etruscan Necropolis.
At the port you can rent rafts to explore the coast or plan a wonderful scuba dive, while a sailing school
located in the pine forest organizes courses and rents small boats.
What about if you get hungry? On the beach you will find several restaurants and bars, a kiosk that
continuously churns out octopus-based dishes and fried fish. and while going on along the harbor
promenade, you can enjoy a tasty fish dish by the sea.

Towards the port, the La Pergola restaurant offers sophisticated fish-based menus and, going past the port, we arrive at the Canessa bar-restaurant, which boasts a splendid panoramic terrace overlooking the gulf, really amazing!

Here are so many activities to do! Let’s start from the port area, where you can rent inflatable boats to explore the coast, or be taken comfortably to some beach thanks to the transport service managed by the company Sulle Vie degli Etruschi. (Ormeggio Baratti).

Close to the port, the Baratti Diving Center will allow you to make unforgettable dives, both technical and recreational, ranging from the promontory to the island of Elba. It also organizes SNSI courses and the baptism of the sea to give you a first approach to the underwater world.
By going on towards the sandy beach, under the immense pine forest, you will find the Piombinese Sailing Center (Centro velico Piombinese), where you can book group sailing lessons or rent a boat for the day.
